As of September 30, 2026, the Apple Card's free Uber One trial is still open: Apple says Apple Card customers can receive a 6 month free trial of an Uber One monthly subscription through its exclusive link. The Delta SkyMiles American Express Uber One offer closed to new sign-ups on June 25, 2026. On the Amex side, the Platinum Card carries an Uber One credit, and Gold Card Members have an Amex Offer on an annual membership bought by October 30, 2026.

Where Things Stand in September 2026

  • Apple Card free Uber One trial: Live. Apple Card customers can get a 6 month free trial of an Uber One monthly subscription when they sign up for a monthly membership using Apple Card, with Apple Pay as the payment type on file, through the exclusive link on Apple's Apple Card page. It's for new or returning Uber One subscribers in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, not existing subscribers, and isn't valid on an annual subscription. After the 6 months, it renews for $9.99/month until canceled.
  • Apple Card Daily Cash: 3% Daily Cash on purchases using Apple Card with Apple Pay in the Uber and Uber Eats apps, uber.com and ubereats.com. Apple lists exclusions, including purchases where Apple Pay isn't available, such as some Split Fares, Group Orders and Uber Family orders.
  • Delta SkyMiles Amex Uber One offer: Closed. Uber's help page says it ran from June 26, 2025 through June 25, 2026 and "has expired." Cardholders who bought a monthly Uber One membership with an eligible card by June 25, 2026 get statement credits of up to $9.99 a month for up to 12 consecutive months (Delta SkyMiles Platinum, Platinum Business, Reserve and Reserve Business) or up to 6 consecutive months (Delta SkyMiles Gold and Gold Business), counted from their first eligible purchase.
  • Amex Platinum: up to $120 in statement credits each calendar year after you buy an auto-renewing Uber One membership with the card, monthly or annual.
  • Amex Gold: an Amex Offer for a one-time statement credit of up to $96 on an annual Uber One membership bought by October 30, 2026. Uber's page says you must be a Gold Card Member by October 16, 2026 to enroll, and the offer is open to new and existing Uber One members.

How to Get the Apple Card Trial

  1. Open the exclusive link on Apple's Apple Card page and sign up for an Uber One monthly membership with Apple Card.
  2. Make sure Apple Pay is the payment type on file when you enroll.
  3. Keep using Apple Pay at checkout. Apple says you must, to receive the Uber One benefits.
  4. Set a reminder before the 6 months end. Apple says that if you cancel before the trial ends, you still get the full 6 months free.

If Your Delta SkyMiles Amex Credits Are Still Running

Keep your eligible Delta SkyMiles Amex as the payment method for your Uber One membership. Uber's help page says the statement credits only cover the amount actually charged to the card, not fees paid with Uber Cash, Uber One credits, discounts or promotions, and they stop if you cancel the membership. Canceling the card or removing it from Uber doesn't cancel Uber One, so end the membership in the app when the credits run out if you don't want to keep paying.

Amex Cards With Uber Benefits

  • Amex Platinum: $15 in Uber Cash each month plus an additional $20 in December, for rides and orders in the U.S., on top of the Uber One credit above. For that credit, Amex says to keep your Uber Cash balance toggled off for Uber One membership fees so the card is charged directly: it doesn't issue the credit for any part of the fee paid with Uber Cash.   • Amex Gold: $10 in Uber Cash each month when you add the card to your Uber account, for orders and rides in the U.S. For the Gold's annual Uber One offer, Uber Cash also has to be toggled off so the membership fee is charged to the card.
  • Delta SkyMiles Gold, Platinum and Reserve: a $120 Rideshare Credit of up to $10 in statement credits each month on U.S. rideshare purchases with select providers; the Reserve's terms name Uber, Lyft, Curb and Alto. Enrollment is required, and on the Gold it starts after your first card renewal.

Uber Cash from the Platinum and Gold benefits expires at 11:59 PM Hawaii Standard Time on the last day of each month and only works in the United States.

Worth Keeping After the Free Period?

Uber's page prices Uber One at $9.99 a month. Its listed benefits include a $0 Delivery Fee and up to 10% off orders over the minimum subtotal, plus 5% back on rides as Uber One credits. If you rarely use either service, cancel before the auto-renewal kicks in.

Updated September 30, 2026: Apple's page still offers Apple Card customers a 6 month free Uber One trial, so we corrected our statement that it had ended. The Delta SkyMiles Amex Uber One offer closed to new sign-ups on June 25, 2026, and we matched its list of eligible cards to Uber's terms. We added the Amex Platinum Uber One credit and the Amex Gold annual Uber One offer, and removed the claim that monthly Uber Cash covers the membership fee.
