If you're heading to Flushing Meadows for the US Open this year, your Chase card is worth as much as your ticket. The 2026 tournament runs August 30 through September 13, with Fan Week kicking off August 24 through 28, and Chase cardholders get access to a stack of free perks most fans walk right past.
The Chase Lounge is the headline benefit. During Fan Week (August 24–28), it's open 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the Main Draw starts, you'll need a reservation, released at 9 a.m. the day before each session, and cardholders can book up to four. It's tucked inside the East Gate near the 7 Train and LIRR entrance, with complimentary refreshments and a break from the August heat.
The Chase Terrace is the easier win. No reservation needed. Just show your card for shaded seating overlooking Courts 8, 9, and 10. It's open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. during Fan Week and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for most Main Draw sessions.
Free phone chargers round things out. Any fan can grab one at the Chase Lounge or nearby ChargeFuze stations. One catch: return it by end of day or you'll eat a $40 fee.
You don't need a premium travel card to unlock any of this. A no-annual-fee Chase Freedom card gets you in the door just as easily as a Sapphire Reserve. That said, if you're building a Chase wallet from scratch, the Chase Sapphire Preferred is still the best entry point for anyone who wants a card that pays for the trip itself through travel and dining multipliers, not just tournament access.
Bottom line: bring any Chase card, plan your lounge reservation the day before, and don't sleep on the terrace since it needs zero advance planning. Pair this with our guide to the best Chase credit cards if you're deciding which one to add to your wallet before the tournament.
