Bilt just made referring friends one of the easiest ways to pad your points balance. Through June 22, 2026, every approved referral earns you 10,000 Bilt Points instead of the usual 2,500. That is a 4x jump, and if you have even one friend on the fence about applying for the Bilt Mastercard, this is the week to send your link.
What Changed
Bilt's standard referral bonus has sat at 2,500 points per approved applicant for a while now. Starting this week and running through June 22, 2026, that number jumps to 10,000 points for every friend who gets approved and accepts their card offer. It does not matter which version of the Bilt card they end up with. You earn the same 10,000 points regardless of which welcome offer they qualify for.
Using a conservative valuation of 2 cents per Bilt Point, that puts the boosted bonus at roughly $200 in value per referral, up from about $50 under the normal rate. If you refer three or four people who get approved before the deadline, you are looking at 30,000 to 40,000 points just for sharing a link.
Why This Matters
Bilt's terms cap lifetime referral earnings at 50 successful referrals, but there is no separate cap tied to this elevated bonus specifically. That means every approved referral between now and June 22 earns the full 10,000 points, not just your first one or two. If you have already used up some referrals at the old rate, you can still rack up the new bonus on every additional approval through the deadline.
This is also one of the few Bilt promotions that does not require any spending or behavior change on your part. You are not paying an annual fee to unlock it, and you do not need to hit a spending threshold. You just need someone in your circle who was already considering the card.
How to Take Advantage
Find your referral link. Log into the Bilt app, go to your rewards or referral section, and grab your personal link or code.
Send it before June 22. The bonus only applies to applications approved and accepted by the deadline, so do not wait until the last day if you can help it. Approval can take time, and you want a buffer in case anything gets delayed.
Think beyond your inner circle. Roommates, family members paying rent, or anyone you know who pays a landlord that does not already take cards are natural fits, since the card lets holders earn points on rent payments without the usual transaction fee. If they are also weighing whether a no-annual-fee card makes sense for their situation, our breakdown of when annual fees are worth paying can help them decide before they apply.
Confirm the approval. Referral points typically post after your friend is approved and their account is opened, so check back in your Bilt account in the weeks following.
If you do not already have your own card and want to start earning on rent payments yourself, applying for the Bilt Mastercard now means you can start referring others as soon as your account is active.
